Cast & Crew

Scott Decker (The Captain): Scott graduated with a BS degree…(fitting really), in sales and marketing. 24 hours later he decided he wanted to be an actor. His mother scraped together the cash for headshots and his grandfather never doubted his dream. After getting arrested on every Law and Order in New York…Scotty got frustrated. After 9 failed screen tests for soap operas (Thank God!), and repeatedly being told by the robots-that-be, that he was not good enough for an under five on 30 Rock… Scotty got angry. Side note: best part of my year was watching Alec Baldwin Pow-Wow with Occupy Wall Street while he cashed his million dollar commercial checks from Capital One…but I digress. After his first play garnered rave reviews for himself and life saver Sean Patrick Reilly, this dynamic duo of darkness was born, and he pressed on. His second play, FELONY FRIDAY attracted iconic living legend John Amos back to the stage, and outsold every show, and Encore show at the 2011 New York Fringe Festival. Since walking off the door of a nine year bouncer/Bodyguard career last fall, Scott has written eight plays, including BLESSED WITH ANGER, THE DEAD HOOKER PLAY, and THE WAR OF ART, all under development now. The role of The Captain in Could 8 is the only one he saved for himself…because you don’t go giving away your “ROCKY”, or “SLINGBLADE”. This like everything he creates is dedicated to every artist with a day job. See this play folks…it’s bad ass, it’s rock and roll theatre, and I promise you, the hottest ticket in town…this is your Captain, signing off.
